Interfilière Shanghai 2026: Sourcing Shifts to Asia for Lingerie and Swimwear

Interfilière Shanghai 2026 ended October 14 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, with 170+ exhibitors across fabrics, trims and OEM/ODM manufacturing under the theme 'INNOVATION RE:CODE'. Interfilière Paris director Matthieu Pinet says price pressure has pushed a large share of lingerie and swimwear sourcing toward Asian suppliers, whose technical expertise now matches Europe's, while brands split orders between Asia and Europe.

For brands and cross-border sellers, performance knits — anti-odour, ultra-soft, technical jerseys — were the most represented category at September's Paris edition, and bralettes are crossing from lingerie into activewear, opening room for small-batch tests. The next Paris edition runs January 16–18, 2027.
